Weather in Japan

​Japan is one of the countries in the world that attracts several tourists. The main attractions are the Japanese culture and art.

The weather in Japan is quite different depending on the town one is visiting. This is because of the great difference between the north and south regions.

Visiting Japan is enjoyable any time of the year but it is important to note the travel weather calendar in order to decide when to go where.

In January Tokyo is the town to visit as it has over 70% total sunny days. This is the time to cruise through the town and enjoy its main attractions and Japanese cuisine. In case you are a lover of fair weather, Fukuoka is the place to go as it has about 40%total sunny days.

On February, Tokyo is still the perfect destination as all through the month, there is a total 70% sunny days.
Tokyo and Osaka have the same sunny conditions during the month of March. You can spend half the month in one town then the other for the remaining time.

Osaka is the place to be in the month of April, May and June. This is because the temperatures are favorable with well spread out sunny and rainy days. Temperatures around this time of the year are at a maximum of 24C with just 30% of the days being rainy.

In July, most towns in Japan are experiencing some rainfall. However, Naha has only 25-30% rainy days making it the ideal destination.

Osaka and Naha are ideal places to visit in August. However, Osaka has the best balance of sunny and rainy days with 70% sunny days and 30% rainy days as opposed to Naha.

In September and October, Naha has the most favorable weather conditions. It has 70% sunny days and only 30% rainy days.

Osaka gets better in November with 60% of the days being sunny. The temperatures are okay at 17C enabling you cruise through the town without fear of sunburns.

Tokyo is the place to close the year. It has a maximum of 12C temperatures with 75% of the days being sunny.
